Were back, safe and sound in Sydney. We have just finished our trip to the tip of Australia and we have had a blast. We will be settling down in Sydney till about Christmas before we head off again to finish the round trip of the country. We will still be making episodes, so keep visiting the site!

Thursday 3rd May 2007
We have arrived in Darwin! Unfortunately it is time to find some work and replenish our supplies. We will be here for a little over a month so we will keep in touch to let you know of our movements.

Friday 13th April 2007
We are in Kununarra at the moment after travelling from Broome. We tried to travel along the Gibb River Road but due to flooding we could only get as far as Lennard River. We did however have a great time checking out Geikie Gorge, Wolfe Creek and the Bungle Bungles. We are off over the border soon, so hopefully we will be writing to you from Darwin in about a weeks time.

We are in Broome at the moment and the weather for now is quite good after TC Kara puffed out before hitting the coast. We are looking to stay in Broome for about a week, it looks like quite a nice place with a few things to do and see. The 'stairway to heaven' (which is the reflections of the rising moon on the waters surface creating an illusion of a stairway to the moon) will appear next week, so we will hang around for that one.

Wednesday 27th March 2007
We are in Port Hedland at the moment, waiting for cyclone Kara to do her thing. We had to sleep in our car last night because all of the accommodation in town was booked out by miners and the local caravan park would not let us set up camp due to the blue alert of the cyclone. We have to wait out the morning to see if it will be safe to drive to Broome.

Wednesday 21st March 2007
We have arrived in Karratha having travelled from Geraldton. Along the way we visited Kalbarri, Shark Bay and Ningaloo Reef. We had a great time which you can read about in the diary section. Unfortunately we are having troubles with our fridge and dual battery system. Hopefully we can get them sorted in Karratha!

Sunday 25th February 2007
We are in Kalgoorlie at the moment, having abandoned our efforts of traveling the Connie Sue. We started the track out of Rawlinna and about 15km into it the track would just disappear. Talking to locals the track has not been used since November and it is in a bad way at the moment. So we have come to Kalgoorlie to get some more information about the Coonie Sue, Anne Beadell and Gunbarrel Highways before we head off again. We will keep you posted. We have just finished our tour of the South of WA, it was a stunning and diverse place, we truly loved it. The first episode of the Outback Photographer has been shot and should be out soon.

Wednesday 7th March 2007
We have arrived in Geraldton after breaking down about 100km outside of Warburton, and are in the processes of getting the car fixed up. As the saying goes 'when it rains it pours', well it certainly is pouring out of our pockets. The repairs from the incident in Warburton plus some other minor repairs will set us back a fair bit. We might have to work somewhere to build up our supplies, but we will keep you all informed.

We are at Esperance at the moment, after 8 days on the road. We are still getting our car setup sorted. It is good to be at one spot for more than one night. I have updated our diary, with some pictures and stories of our last eight days. We are off again tomorrow, heading up north to Warburton, than over to the coast at Kalbarri. We will be out of contact for about two weeks, so we will be in touch when we can.

Well, we have officially begun our trip! We are really excited to finally be on our way on what should be a trip of a lifetime. This website will be evolving as we go along and I will try to update it as often as possible. I have just included a section that displays the fuel prices in towns that we pass through. Click here to see fuel prices... I would like to thank all of our sponsors for their generous and kind support.
